This is from a photo reference of a friend of mine that lives in Hollywood. I decided to paint her as a vampire. In the photo she looks like a normal human. I cannot seem to ger her hand right. I actually made it look far less odd than it does in her photo.
I like the color palette I used. Lots of green.
This was done with Photoshop CS and a wacom graphire tablet. I am now using CS3, and some of the touch ups were done with CS3.
Hey bud I love your work. I checked out your web site. One problem I see is that on the home page the pear tutorials say they are 5 bucks but when you click into it, it say's 10 bucks. You might want to fix that. I was looking to get it for the 5 so I didn't purchase it. I do own 6 or 7 of your others and they are amazing. You do great work.
Very beautiful. I'm impressed by your colour use when it come to the shadows. I'd imagine the transition between green and orange is a difficult thing to do. Her belly is lovable and the "unfinished finish"-feeling of the hair is really a nice touch.
Incredible work. I love how you've used grey tones to convey the impression of age and deathliness, but still kept her personality and pose alluring. The Nosferatu-like nails are a nice touch and the overall piece is beautifully done.
